Role Overview
We are looking for a Back-End Developer to join our team in Athens. This is a full-time, hybrid role where you will collaborate with our experienced Development team to build and maintain Marpoint’s unique services.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust backend systems for Marpoint’s services.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and scalable system design.
- Continuously optimize system performance and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:

BSc in Information Technology or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 4 years of development experience using C# .NET.

Strong knowledge of REST API Web Services and Data Access Design Patterns.

Familiarity with Model-View-Controller (MVC) design principles.

Experience with distributed source control systems like Git, Docker, and Continuous Integration (CI) deployments.

Proficiency in MySQL.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.

Ability to work efficiently both on your own initiative and within a team.

Completed military obligations (for male candidates).
Preferred:

Familiarity with computer network principles.

Experience in performance optimization and scalable system design.

Participation in architecture decisions or mentoring junior developers.

Previous experience with ElasticSearch, Redis, or AWS Services.

Familiarity with React (helpful for collaboration, but not required).
