Role Overview
We are looking for a Python Data Science Developer to join our team in Athens. This is a full-time, hybrid role where you will collaborate with our experienced Development team to build and maintain Marpoint’s unique services.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust backend systems for Marpoint’s services.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and scalable system design.
- Continuously optimize system performance and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- BSc in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred; equivalent professional experience considered).
- Excellent command of Greek and English (oral and written).
- Completed military obligations (for male candidates).
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Core Skills
- Python (clean, production-ready code).
- Python API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask).
- LLM development (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, model evaluation).
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) development.
- Software engineering best practices (Git, testing, CI/CD).
Additional Skills
- Cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Vector databases.
- Relational databases.
- Data analysis (pandas, NumPy, data cleaning, wrangling, visualization).
- Data workflow design and optimization (ETL pipelines, transformations).
- Data visualization tools (Plotly, PowerBI).
