Donation of refurbished Computers to the registered charity “Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door”
MarPoint, in partnership with the Greek maritime community and our customers, completed a charitable donation campaign “Sea for PC” to Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door. As a Maritime IT Company we were looking for a worthwhile idea to give back to those in need as part of our “CSR” corporate responsibility program.
We decided to combine our resources along with the power of some of our good customers. We collected and donated 15 fully functional and updated refurbished PCs and Laptops computers to support the mission of Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door to improve the lives of people with cerebral palsy in Greece.
The donated computers will actively support the educational programs provided to children and adults with cerebral palsy at the Open Door Centre, aiming to offer them the best possible educational experience and opportunity, and to maximize their abilities, while also supporting the staff in the provision of their services to the beneficiaries and their families.
Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door also shared their gratitude for the support they have received from this campaign. “We are grateful for the recognition and continuing support of our cause received from friends like the MarPoint company in Greece and abroad,” said Mrs. Daphne Economou, President of Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door.
