Posidonia 2016 was successfully completed last week with the attendance of over 22,000 maritime industry professionals from over 90 countries. This year’s magnificent event surpassed all expectations breaking all attendance records. Marpoint as a software developer and hardware integrator participated in the exhibition through many of its partners and customers.
Maritime telecoms companies and their representatives had another chance to meet face to face and discuss the industry’s potential and the forthcoming Internet of Ships applications and services being offered. As a general result, it can be concluded that ship-to-shore and shore-to-ship needs are increasing exponentially. That said, Marpoint stands at the forefront of the Internet of things offering custom made solutions for its customers.
